Despite the scattered storms and Zika scare, Wynwood was bustling for ArtWalk on Saturday, August 13 with a mix of vendors, tourists, and locals. Residents protesting the pesticide spray over the area walked up and down NW 2nd Ave with signs and handouts of information about Zika and the pesticide Naled. Other volunteers canvased the surrounding blocks handing out individually packaged DEET towelettes and natural insect repellant spray. Photographer Karli Evans was there to capture it all.
