229 Collective Takes Over Churchill's Pub for Its 40th Anniversary

The legendary rock club Churchill's Pub has been celebrating its 40th anniversary of hosting some of the rawest and noisiest music in the Southeast. As part of the anniversary celebration, local bookers have taken their turn showcasing a sample of the area's music scene every night during the month of September. On Friday, September 20, the 229 Collective offered a selection of DJs and experimental sounds from performers like Poorgrrrl, Phaxas, Ashley Venom, Beatriz Monteavaro of Holly Hunt, and others.
